For us in Maths and Me, we see learning Mathematics as a critical  need in order to succeed in life.  We need to overcome any challenge that will not enable us to learn the level of Maths necessary to excel in life. The level of Mathematical knowledge that we need is based on our gifts and talents and no-one is dumb. Not everyone needs to learn high levels of Maths and we are able to learn the level of Maths we need as we appreciate our gifts and talents and find the relevance of Maths in these areas. 

In Maths and Me, Maths anxiety can be overcome when we have the right perspective, cover any learning gaps and practice our Maths processes with joy. We need to learn to reward ourselves and see Maths as fun. We need to develop Mathematical Resilience and learn our unique ways of understanding Maths.
